They all sit nice and quietly here but...
Kashiwa Reysol haven't exactly had the reputation of having the nicest supporters. They've often been referred to as thugs, and a japanese answer to the english "hooligan". Those words got a new meaning in april, when a bunch of Reysol-supporters attacked a lone Shimizu-supporter outside the stadium after the match. (read the whole story here: http://s-pulseukultras.blogspot.com/2008/04/kashiwas-only-victory-yesterday.html ).
Now there's been another disgraceful incident taking place in Kashiwa, but ( for once ) it wasn't the home team's supporters fans fault. When Reysol's Alex were about to take a corner in front of the Antlers fans, one crazy dude ran towards him and hit him on the head with one of those giant flags. Surely that guy should be banned for life from ever entering a football field in Japan again, but with the japanese FA being as "cowardly" as they usually are, that's not likely to happen.
Seems hooliganism and incidents within the crowd are getting more and more common in Japan now, and JFA has to kill it before it evolves into a much bigger problem. So, the sooner the better.
